Perez wants clarification on defensive moves

Me too.  I usually think of Perez as a bit of a bully on the track (mind you this year he is behaving properly, and his karma is treating him well as a result), but I am pleased to see him come to Kimi's defence.

Hamilton's whining about Rosberg blowing through yellows could be a bit hypocritical though...the boys at J13 point out that Hamilton did the same thing in '14.

What shocked me is Whiting, a man who's opinions on safety I loathe, had given drivers yellow flag clarifications.  For a single yellow, they must demonstrate a .2 second sector differential from their best sector speed, while for double waved yellows, a half second.  How slowing by half a second per sector from their best speed could possibly bring an F1 car to a tempo allowing it to stop suddenly, if necessary is beyond me.  Most drivers are racing a few tenths down from their best sector for most of the race, so in a sense they are still full on race speed.  Seems WAY too little of a lift to me.  Whiting, you are a moron.
