Also we have to overlook that Bernard Eccelstone entered a few F1 races.  He didn't qualify, but he's the richest person to ever drive an F1 car in competition.

Even though I doubt the figures, but surely the drivers mentioned here never struggled to find a driving seat for funding. I also like to believe Mika Hakkinen have some fortune, because still now he has a few endorsement up his sleeve. Also missing is Jean Alesi. And the fact that Prost having a bankrupted racing team, surely put a dent in his fortune. And before finishing there is a chap called Mario Andretti..
