This man has truly turned tragedy into triumph.  His story is quite amazing, and I hope he makes a lasting differences in peoples' lives through his work.

He certainly is doing so :) Channel 4 has somehow managed to get through its entire Paralympic programming without showing any of the handcycle races live, but one of the comedians in its The Last Leg show, Alex Brooker, had a beautiful speech about how Alex Z inspires him because of his attitude to disability. And The Last Leg has been quite popular in the UK during the Paralympics...

Zanardi has always been a very likeable person and has been inspiration in overcoming all the challenges he has had thrown at him.  I'm really pleased for him.  I am sure that he will inspire others too.

Zanardi has shown the world, how not to give up while life makes a harsh turn, he not only survived but thrived to be an inspiration for generations to come.

Too bad when he drove for Williams he was stuck with one of the worst of times of that team. Had he drove during those BMW powered times, surely he would have made great impression in the F1 history books.
