Is Paddy Lowe about to switch to Ferrari?
« on: September 18, 2016, 09:30:22 AM »
Not much real evidence, but surely Ferrari are on the hunt for some more engineering support, so anything is possible.

Further down the article is some discussion about trick suspension perhaps on the Mercedes, and then they asked Vettel what he thinks about the possibility and he went on to say that Ferrari also has some 'clever' things on their car.  After watching Seb's front wheels going around corners in the air while taking turns in both directions, makes me think one of their clever things broke, and maybe showed their cards.  Clearly the boys on Sky were a bit perplexed to explain what could have technically gone wrong to create that symptom...hmmm.

Making a bid and him actually moving are two different things so I doubt it'll happen.  :DntKnw:

Maybe Mercedes is trading Paddy for Bottas.   ;)

Maybe when Lewis wouldn't obey his radio order he thought I'm

I wouldn't think Williams is a challenge he would want if he moves it'll be a factory team. Although I am told often by my better half that I'm usually wrong!   :nono:

I'm pretty sure Paddy has been looking at his options to play a bit of hardball with Toto in his new contract negotiations, and has no real intention of moving on.

Can't see a role at Williams whilst Pat Symonds is there and I'm sure Paddy will have spoken to Pat Fry about his treatment at Ferrari. The other thing against Ferrari is the need to be based in Italy, if he does go for a change I think he will stay based in Britain.
