Gee the surprise of the century

Maybe they just don't want to honk off their last driver.

There may have been a danger that Mercedes were going to enter 2017 with no drivers had they gone after punishing Hamilton!

Hey there Scott!  I'm doing okay thanks, just finally feeling settled in a new town after all the turmoil of a while back.  Got the email about the Caption Comp and thought I'd turn up and post again.  How's things going?  :good:

Now Toto is saying that they were wrong. they should have just let them race.

"In the heat of the moment, sometimes when you make decisions you get them wrong," Wolff said. "In our mind, the way we think, this race is giving us the same number of points as other races and we try to win that one, not considering that there was much more at stake for the drivers.

"How the race panned out, we should have communicated differently and in hindsight let them race in the way they deemed to be appropriate."
