Author Topic: Just for laughs- First it was Instagram..and now Snapchat. Am i too old?  (Read 8318 times)

I understand the technical differences between the various platforms.

What I don't understand is why SnapChat appeals to anyone.  The feature is you can only see things once.  What is the point of that?  Can you imagine if you missed an F1 race you couldn't watch a repeat, or if there was a great pass (you know, under the old rules), you'd never be able to see it again?

One word: Sexting. It goes away before it can be posted somewhere.

Except it doesn't really always work, as many young people have discovered to their sorrow. Because, you know, screen capture. (A process I have yet to learn  :'( )

It's easy. Just tape a piece of tracing paper to the screen & get out your crayons. For hi-res copies, you'll need the 64 color box.
