50th Anniversary of 1st Cosworth F1 Win
« on: June 05, 2017, 12:27:03 PM »
%0 years ago, 4 June, 1967, the Ford Cosworth DFV (Double Four Valve) won it's first F1 race. Jim Clark drove his DFV powered Lotus 49 to victory at Zanvoort. The legendary engine continued in F1 for 21 years, winning 10 Constructor and 12 Driver championships. The Indy version of the engine, the DFX, won 10 Indianapolis 500's, 3 USAC and 10 CART championships. It also won Le Mans twice.

I think we've had this link up before, but here's how it all started:

“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”
― Bob Dylan
