Grid Game 2017
« on: November 26, 2017, 09:29:51 PM »
Once gain, I’ve only been able to stay ahead of players who have missed a handful
Of races, and even behind one or two others also with a goose egg.  But it’s fun, it’s something more to discuss in race chat and if it keeps people playing, and joining in on the forum, then it’s a good thing.

Hearty congratulations to Greener, Dare and Mutley, none of whom are strangers to the GG podium.

Thanks as always to our beloved Wizzo for providing us a place to play and chat and discuss and hone friendships.  Thanks to Dare for relentlessly running a tight ship and not taking any ship  ;) from anyone.

Hats off!!   :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

There was a tie and the tie breaker is who picks
the most poles correctly. I went thru the results and
Wiz is going to double check me to make sure it's correct

Well done to the winners. I'm new to this site this year and have thoroughly enjoyed the GG - thanks to those who admin it.

Looking forward to next years already.

I managed to do a bit better than last year, but like Scott said, it's good fun.

Well done to the winners and organisers who ran an excellent competition once again unfortunately my standard has slipped and I have not performed well.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

I was convinced that I was going to finish last of all the regulars here after missing the Brazilian Grand Prix deadline, so I was pleasantly surprised to finish ahead of Jeri and Scott and break the 200 point barrier.  It just reinforces how dull and predictable the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is that it's easy to predict the finishing order.

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to Wizzo and Dare for running such a slick competition.
