Here's another source for die cast, kit or built-up

http://www.kandrreplicas.co.uk/index.shtml

Mostly 1/43 scale, but some 1/24, too

Back in my youth, I built many, many plastic model cars. I also raced slot cars.

I still collect 1/43 scale die cast. I've been playing with the idea of taking some appropriate racing locations, printing them up to the proper size and photographing the models in front of them. I'd most likely have to pop for a pinhole lens.

Another link for diecast:

In spite of the name, they're in Indiana.

Cheers Stig. I keep threatening to dig my old track out and get a couple of new cars. They've got some excellent cars at Bluewater I was looking at the other day.
