I was only asking really because I have registered with F1, and there is a warning that you can only view videos for your own personal use, and not to transfer or use publicly blah blah blah , but I don't believe I've not seen this warning anywhere else!

I usually try to include the source (From F1 Live:) when I copy and paste a story, but I think posting just a link is fine.  Most websites are happy for the extra hits they get when links are posted on forums and blogs.

Scott is absolutely right on this, you may post links to stories and videos on other sites and the sites owners will be happy for the extra visits. However, if you copy and paste all or any part of a story then the source should be acknowledged at the bottom of the article.
