Well while we’re comparing combat injuries, two weeks ago I went over the handlebars.  Leg still has nasty scabs and every sneeze, cough and laugh reminds me I have a couple of cracked ribs.   :(

OUCH!! Scott .... Can I assume Racing Cycle or Mountain Bike???

Either way, hope you mend real soon!

Best Regards,
Cal :)

Mountain biking in the Black Forest.  I finished out the day (another couple of hours riding).  Slowed me down, didn't put me out.

That'd the spirit!  :good:

A friend of mine broke some ribs in a motorcycle mishap a while back. She recommends hugging a teddy bear or a small pillow to ease the pain of coughing, sneezing and such.

It works too Cos, after I'd had my heart op a nurse heard me curse when I coughed and brought me a rolled up hand towel and said hug it to your chest, still hurts but nowhere near as much.

I'm an asthmatic and was really bad when I was young. After a severe attack when I would struggle to breathe for days, my diaphragm would ache just like an arm or leg after some heavy tennis or something. Problem is you can't rest it or put heat on it very well.  :'(
