Next Stop after Miami .... Vietnam!
« on: June 05, 2018, 09:05:52 PM »
Looks like the new owners of F1 are starting to stack up the option for future F1 Venues.   As everyone has heard about the plans for Miami, it's now clear that Vietnam is the next "street circuit" target for Liberty Media.  They are clearly looking for a strong presence in the USA, Asia and continued foundations in Europe (their words, not mine).

Best Regards,
Cal :)

I think Bernie was talking about Hanoi before Liberty came on the scene.

Correct! ... so if it fails, it was Bernie's vision, if it succeeds, it's Liberty's doing!!  ::)

Would somebody please tell Liberty that they are looking for venues that would have good racing, not places to film James Bond movies.

Well, Sky Sports have the silver screen 'movie trailer' and animated 'action figures' in place, so why not slap a James Bond style location to complete the illusion!!!  ... maybe Williams can offer the 'Shaken, not Stirred' approach to their outings??? (even if Martini have all but dried up their enthusiasm to stick around) :DD

Cal :)
