Sato wins Indy

I'd have liked for Marco to have won but my
next 2 favs were Rossi and Sato. Alonso wasted
his time showing up with a Chevy engine. Shouldn't
have p*ssed Honda off.

Good going Sato

Sato drove a good race. It's a shame that Pigot crashed with 5 laps to go. It could have been a really great finish!

Shows how safe these cars are. Pigot took a massive
hit sideways. Thought Rossi got shafted with a penalty

The new aeroscreen did it's job on Pigot's shunt. His first impact was with the tire barrier at the end of the pit lane delineator. The screen kept the tires out of the car & away from the driver's head. On the other hand, they create so much extra turbulence in the cars wake that it's almost impossible for a following car to come close.

Askew's almost full speed crash into the inside SAFER barrier was another example of the safety of today's cars.

Rossi's unsafe release penalty was questionable, but no more so than some we've seen in F1. In any case, the fault was on the pit crew and not the driver.

IMO, the worst penalty miscarriage was the non-call on Zach Veach for running Ed Carpenter into the wall.
