Sergio Marchionne has passed away
« on: July 25, 2018, 10:54:26 AM »
Breaking news this morning that Sergio Marchionne has passed away.  It is very much 'breaking' so no more details and I would not want to speculate on the whys or wherefores after his surgery.
RIP Sergio.

Wow, I recall there was an article this week about some complications from shoulder surgery and that he would not return to Fiat/Ferrari.  That was very sudden.  I didn't always agree with his decisions with regards to Ferrari, but he was quite an accomplished guy from relatively humble beginnings and he had my respect.

RIP Sergio.

I'm sorry to here this. All in all, he did a fine job at FCA in difficult times. Just last night, I read this about 7 cars we wouldn't have had without him, from the new Fiat 124 Spyder to the Challenger Hellcat:

RIP, Sergio.
