Massa Puts the Record Straight!

If we all remember Stroll's comments regarding "no guidance from Massa" a good while back, it could be argued that his comments were taken 'a little' out of context.  However, I think most of it comes down to selfishness and little respect for Massa at the time.  So, it appears that Massa is now letting us know how things went down from his side ...

Maybe Stroll needs someone like Max as a teammate, just to provide a little clarity and comparison???

I am no Massa fan, but his time at Williams now seems like a golden era so I will choose to believe everything he says in this situation!

Let's face it....Stroll only has an F1 seat because it's been brought for him. I assume he will move to Force India next year as Daddy has now brought him his own team.
Sorry but Lance Stroll has zero talent in a race car. He's made so many mistakes and never once have I heard him apologise or accept responsibility.
I'm not on the Kubica bandwagon but it must be galling to see this upstart take to the track and either trash the car or do nothing with it race after race.
I realise it's a dog of a car right now but it's not helped by having a driver who merely moans.

I don't know whether to believe Massa or Stroll but I get the impression Stroll wouldn't recognise advice if it hit him in the face!

Some people think Kubica is close to Stroll and might even move over to Force India with him in a mentoring role.  I do hope not.  I am not sure Kubica is the second coming (or ever was, but he was a decent driver) but I did hope he'd get one of the race seats and would be totally chuffed if he did replace Stroll at Williams this year.  Stroll isn't bad by any means but I cannot warm to him in the slightest.

Also not a Stroll fan, and I am Canadian - this is where I would say I'm sorry  . 

I'm pleased his Dad has bought Force India, but I hope they realise before too long that Lance may not be the linchpin they need for the team to succeed.

I can well believe that Massa's comments are probably accurate.  I don't dislike Stroll, but he is not a particularly likeable character, in my opinion, and he seems to rate himself more highly than perhaps he ought to.  Still, he remains more capable than Villeneuve believed, which is ironic, given that Jacques is now saying that Stroll should move to Force India as soon as possible.
