The CHEEZZZY Way to introduce F1 Online
« on: August 18, 2018, 08:46:36 AM »
"Every Formula 1 Grand Prix event is like a Super Bowl, All-Star Game, and championship party rolled into one" .... who wrote that crap (and which *cough* side of the pond were they on at the time) ???

Cal :)

But it is like the Super Bowl - Massive hype followed by a crappy, boring sporting event.

Well, it can't be all of those things. If it's a Super Bowl, there can be only one of it a season. If it's a championship party, there can't be a competition. If it's an All-Star Game, there can't be any Tier 2 people or teams.

At this point, F1 manages to fail all three basic criteria (except Abu Dhabi, which can technically claim to be the last round of the season and therefore matching that basic criterion with the Super Bowl).
