Mexico GP Heroes and Zeroes

Heroes
Lewis
A fourth place to clinch a championship is somewhat anticlimactic, but Hamilton did what he needed to do to put himself into the conversation for all time greats.  Certainly not his best race of the season, but he won the championship without forcing anyone out, which can't be said for some others in the conversation for all time greats.

Max
Another driver that I love to hate turning into a driver that I just love.  Damn you Max for driving with skill and restraint!

Mexican Crowd
Very rarely is the crowd part of the spectacle, but the fans are so close to the track, and everyone in their day of the dead outfits adds a lot to the experience of watching the race!

Zeroes
I already forget who was playing midfield bumper cars and left part of their wing in Alonso's radiator.  Whoever the culprits were, shame on you.

Ricciardo's Gremlin
If it was just the engine blowing, you'd expect more trouble from the 5 other Renault powered cars.  If it was a poor cooling design you'd expect more trouble from Max.  My suspicion is that there's a member of Daniel's team who is setting something up wrong in his car, and our Aussie friend starts every race in a ticking time bomb.  We'll find out if Daniel takes his mechanics to Renault, or Gasly suffers more of the same.

David Coulthard
I know your job is to interview the drivers as soon as the pop out of their cars, but no one wants to see you interrupting that moment of jubilation.  Further... no one wants to see you accusing Lewis' physiotherapist of very unprofessional conduct.  (I admit, it is weird that she's the one that ran out to Lewis, but still...) Finally, Vettel is far too smart for you to sabotage him with dirty questions.

One addition each way -

Heroes:

The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez - A great circuit. Glad to have it back on the schedule.

Zeroes:

Haas's Pit Boffins - Went from possible double points finish to the tail end with an unbelievable decision not to pit during the VSC. What in the world were they thinking?

Max
Drove a sublime race lapping most people twice and even Bottas once.

Ricciardo
Well, because he deserves some luck! I'm hoping his switch to Renault will be as inspired as Lewis' to Mercedes a few years back.

Zeroes
Mercedes
Seriously, lapped by RedBull!  I'm assuming the high altitude ruins their grip and therefore increases tyre wear.  Luckily for them it's only one race a year. Unluckily for RedBull of course.

Finishing positions
Whilst the race was actually quite enjoyable in parts, having the top 6 finish at 20s behind the guy in front was a bit rubbish after the finish in Austin the previous week.
