Although this is not specifically about F1, it could have taken unwelcome large chunk from all teams budgets.
There will be more relief amongst all other formulas and grass roots motor/bike racing across Europe that their arguments are prevailing.

This also saves poor old Dare from adding a no claims
section to the GG.  :DD :DD

I'm not entirely sure what the article is saying... but I think it says the EU has decided any vehicle operating on private property does not have to be insured?  Therefore race cars run on private property (in Europe) don't have to be insured?

I think it's much more nuanced than that Jeri, I expect the amendment will see exclusions for organised motorsport or other events/businesses with public liability and personal/professional indemnity(E&O) insurance.

The general requirement for insurance of vehicles on private land will no doubt still apply.
Unfortunately the EU seems intent on wrapping it's citizens in legal cotton wool, even those who flout other laws like trespass...... etc, etc.  ::)

That is the first argument for the UK to leave the EU that I agree with  ;)
For those of you on the other post lamenting the lack of political intolerance  :DD
