« on: February 17, 2019, 08:41:45 AM »
Starts tomorrow in Barcelona.

Although for Williams it starts on Tuesday as the FW42 won't be ready in time  :fool: :fool:

Maybe they just don't want the other teams to see how quick they are so early on  ;)

Or maybe Paddy and the crew just can't give up the long Sunday Lunch habit.  :tease:

I'll be waiting to see if them 3/4 width front wings on the Alfa make it onto track in earnest.

That would be an epic red herring from Ferrari Alfa Romeo if the 3/4 wing was not used in earnest!

5 minutes in and a red flag!  Kimi had a spin off track in his Alfa Romeo.

Otherwise, sure I can dig something up early tomorrow, then I can complete the set and get of with set up.

Cheers,
Cal :)

Ahhh!!!!

So, much the same looking as 2018 (at a glance of course, where fine detail is irrelevant in my wee car designs).

You're a LEGEND Luke!!  :good: :good: :good: *high fives*

See you tomorrow,
Cal :)

OH NO! Williams really in trouble, they'll probably miss day 2 of testing as well.  :swoon:

Maybe someone put Rexona in the tank instead of Rokit fuel.  :D

Here's the times from first days testing with tyres best lap set on and number of laps.

Puts a bit more perspective on just the raw times.

No, nothing happened today John.  Testing doesn't start until Wednesday morning, at the earliest.  At least, that's what I've heard!

Kimi thinks ALFA are moving ahead

It would make for a great story if Kimi and Alfa find a satisfying level of success - it would be a good thing for neutral fans and more so, a great thing for F1.

Best Regards,
Cal :)
