Sore moments in F1 history ...
« on: March 12, 2019, 07:59:33 AM »
With the current focus on Williams, I thought I would dig up this article/video.   We all remember this clash between Kimi and Valterri during the Mexican GP back in 2015.

** Apologies for anyone offended by "colourful language" **

Which other events in the last 20 years can you recall as a "sore point" ??

Best Regards,
Cal :)

Not the cleanest of overtakes for Claire Williams to condone...and if your going to swear, at least put some conviction into it :nono:
She needs to take a leaf out of this ladies/mans book hehe

I think Brendan's attempt was a tad clearer than Claire Williams!!  :o

Now, this will always be one of my "F1 Sore Moments" ...

... I'm sure I threw something at the TV that day!!!

Best Regards,
Cal :)

Here's a whole heap of soreness and a few tears, well for some anyway - others got unexpected bonus wins.  :D

VERY nice collection in that clip John!!  :good:

Of course, I will mention the Hill/Arrows clip, as I remember not being able to blink, as Damon shook the life out of the car, hoping something would re-engage the loss of power.  A heartbreaking result for both Damon and Arrows on that day!!

I remember talking to people about the Nelson Piquet Jr/Renault Saga ... nobody wanted to believe it at the time, labelling it as "far fetched" and a "ludicrous accusation".

Best Regards,
Cal :)
