Personally, I hope so!!

However, for entertainment value, it would be fab to see Leclerc and Bottas fighting at the front.

Best Regards,
Cal :)

Quite a few F1 tech commentators are suggesting Ferrari engines were not run at full stretch in Melbourne for some reason.
The main guess is a problem with the use and recovery on the ERS systems. It's suggested this issue is track related therefore Ferrari stand a better chance of giving it full beans for the next couple of races.
So Toto could well be right on this one.

I expect Ferrari to compete in Bahrain as it's generally a strong track for them.

I hope it’s a different finish order, and hope DR has better luck to show us where the Renault shakes out in race mode.

Me too Scott. Hamilton, Bottas, Verstappen, Vettel, Leclerc would be different enough  :yahoo:

Melbourne wasn't terrible by any means, but let's hope the race this coming weekend serves up some close battles at the front.  We can always rely on mid field entertainment, but I think we would all enjoy wheel to wheel and close following & overtakes at the front!!

Hamilton will have something to prove. Barring car trouble I expect he will motor off into the distance. I think Ferrari have a problem they're not talking about.

We know (hope) it's nonsense, but I've read 'bits' which suggest that Mercedes simply re-paid Bottas with a favour in Melbourne and that from here on in, it's business as usual, as the team will favour Lewis.  So, if Bottas can't hold onto his coattails, then Ocon "may" still be in the picture by the summer break??

Unless they deliberately sabotaged Lewis' car, I doubt they were just doing Valterri a favor. Pretty sure he will be trying very hard to show OZ was not a fluke, but I don't think he is quite on a par with Lewis.
