All I've heard is "tests, consider, looking at, possibility" and words of similar sounding hesitation towards 2020 options for Fernando!

Of course, he is not hanging around McLaren for the good of his health and finally seeing some progress by the team, well .... who knows.  However, it's an all too familiar scenario and comebacks (even if only a 1 year gap) are never favourable, with a flurry of new drivers coming into F1.

You have completed my hat trick hehe. A colleague thought his patient had escaped hehe, my daughter thought I had cut my finger off and you thought baby cakes was coming back to F1....if only hehe.
