Norris had a hydraulic problem, and activating DRS would have aggravated it. He was in a bad enough situation on the last couple of laps without making it happen sooner by excessive use of items relying on hydraulics (including but not limited to DRS). That was why he wasn't allowed to pass Sainz - attempting to do so would have almost guaranteed he'd be a DNF or non-points scorer, instead of scoring 2 points as actually happened.
I've had a race I deliberately skipped the end of (Monaco 2008 - I was so fed up of James Allen rhapsodising about Lewis Hamilton while I was steaming about Kimi Raikkonen taking Adrian Sutil out of the race that I left the TV room in favour of GP Wizard chat six laps early). In some ways, having the race on highlights makes things easier, because I know the worst half of the footage has already been excised and there will be scheduled ad breaks where I'm guaranteed not to miss anything.
The gorillas are because the artist who produced them, Richard Orlinski, has an artistic vision called "Born Wild", and the mascot provided for the circuit is "
Wild Kong" (so if it looks like a certain computer character, it's deliberate). Something to do with the ferocity needed to win a Grand Prix, I guess. Not that last race was a good sample.
