I am always skeptical when I see F1 costs, or driver salaries.  In the cost of a front wing for example, I think they must have R&D in there, or they are adding in a portion of operating costs. 

And it begs the question of how a pay driver can possibly be worth it.  Wrecking a few cars can quickly go through the drivers sponsorship.

Anyhow, the costs are staggering, either way.
