TIL, Honda makes jet engines.

I always liked Honda's approach of using internal employees for the F1 programme instead of running it as an outside endeavour.

Obviously dedicated F1 engine manufacturers are going to be more experienced with these things, but being able to bring in fresh blood with new ideas from people you trust can be very helpful.

It took them about 12 years to get the HondaJet HA-420 from prototype to production. Maybe we should expect an improvement around 2032.  ;)

I was shocked and amazed at how much improvement Honda made before and during the 2019 season. Red Bull figures only Mercedes have better power.
