Good find Dare.  :good: I enjoyed looking at that.

The two striking things for me are first the straight line top speed of the Alfetta at 290k, and 2nd the huge difference in fuel load. For me not enough is made of how efficient these hybrid F1 engines are.

What I do find fascinating is that the top speed of F1 cars hasn't really changed.  Modern cars are probably better at accelerating, braking and can corner at higher speeds, but someone, somehow decided that the most 'interesting' speed of a race car is around 300 kph

And also almost no safety equipment. That goes for both the cars and the tracks. Aarmco barriers were almost unheard of and there were frequently trees close in along the roadside.
