End of the Road for Segway

Segway announced that it is stopping production of it's 2 wheeled PT. I wonder if the downfall of shopping malls had anything to do with it. After all, I can't remember the last time I saw a Segway PT that didn't have a mall cop riding it.

The government suggested we should all get one a few months back. I guess nobody else opted for that either...

Death Machines as they were called after my Brother-in-law came off one and broke his wrist.
I've done some good tours on them with Munich probably being the best.

You can buy a beater car for less than a Segway.
