Four More Races Announced
« on: August 25, 2020, 02:58:22 PM »
Four more F1 races have been announced for the 2020 season. That brings to total number of races this year to 17.

F1 will return to Istanbul on the weekend of November 13-15 for the DHL Turkish Grand Prix. Arguably the best Tilke track, it will host its first GP since 2011.

Following Turkey, there will be another double header. The Sakir circuit in Bahrain will host the Bahrain Grand Prix November 27-29, followed by the Rolex Sakir GP on December 4-6.

The last of the newly announced races will be the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix the weekend of December 11-13.

Who thought it was a good idea to have 80% capacity ticket sales at Turkey? (Also, they're clearly expecting filling those seats to be difficult as they are charging €12 for the entire weekend - understandable as the majority of Turkish F1 fans are students and this is during university term-time (albeit not as bad as when F1 decided to hold the Turkish GP during finals week and was then surprised to see 75% of people didn't attend).
