Here's a virtual look at this week's new venue Portimao. There are some interesting corners, but it's the elevation changes that are challenging the drivers.

Saturday has been interesting. Vettel's Ferrari sucked up a drain cover at the end of FP3. That caused the track crew to check all of them around the track. Many of them are loose. Quali delayed until they get them all secured. Still, far better they found out in practice rather than in the race.

I'll be missing from the chat room for at least the early part of the race. I'm at Ohio AMVETS Fall Conference. They've scheduled a meeting for tomorrow morning at the same time the race starts.
