McLaren M6A
« on: April 30, 2021, 12:34:13 AM »
This is a very nice video about the car that started McLaren down the road to success. There were other McLarens before it but they were not very successful. Bruce always said he raced in the Can-Am to win the money to build F1 cars. I guess that means this car is the foundation of McLaren F1. It was the first McLaren painted "McLaren Orange" and was hugely successful. It spawned a line of racing cars that completely owned the Can-Am series until Porsche ventured in. Full credit to Motor Sport for a good job. I hope you enjoy!

Great find Lonnie! Thanks.  :good:

I didn't know that they built Bruce's cars on a shorter wheelbase.
