Valencia F1 circuit now a migrant shanty town.

(1/2) > >>

John S:
Abandoned since 2012 the race track, which should have formed roadways for a mega urban development, has stood mainly empty.
With all the lost monies and legal wrangling will proper buildings replace the now shanty town before the track totally crumbles?

I'm also wondering which other vanity project tracks around the world are in similar dire straights?  :DntKnw:

There's a show on the Peacock Channel hear hosted
by Darrel Earnhardt about the forgotten NASCAR tracks
around the US. Too bad there isn't one about the F1 tracks
around the world

There's a YouTuber 'Slapshoes' who mostly talks about NASCAR, and has done videos about truly abandoned tracks.  There's one (I don't remember/not looking it up) where it's entirely overgrown by forest, but he can identify the straight and pits by how the pollution affects growth.

There's another track that is only mentioned in one newspaper race summary, with no other evidence it existed.

This You Tuber covers F1 circuits from the past, abandoned and otherwise. Here is hia video on the upcoming track, Spa.
