2021 Title Race

Toto Wolff seems to feel that the Hamilton - Verstappen crash and the potential of another coming together will be a deciding factor in the 2021 title.

Interesting view.

I think he's right. If Max had a win at Silverstone (Not certain but possible) and points from Hungary the battle would look quite different. If past performance is an indicator, Max should have an edge at the next 2 races. After that who knows? But he could have gone to the desert races with a really big lead. If he wins he'll probably be even more insufferable than he is now.

Certainly Hamilton has been through 'crunch time' fighting for a championship, and come up on top, as well as not.

Max hasn't, though I think he really is ready for the challenge.  Hamilton and Mercedes will need to keep the pressure up though if they have any hope of making Max 'crack'
