It was stated quite early on in 2021 that Merc stopped development so based on that what they achieved was quite phenomenal.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

They may say they stopped development, but do we really believe they took the Haas route and somehow got lucky?  ::)

Looking at how dominant they were the previous season then I can believe that development was minimal.
