Christmas music 2022
« on: December 01, 2022, 04:59:48 PM »
Mother Nature announced the arrival of the Christmas season here in Ohio today. Yesterday it was in the low 60's, this morning it was 22.  :swoon:

Start off with something a little laid back from 1956:

“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”
― Bob Dylan

While there are a ton of great Christmas songs, Silver Bells is the one that most makes me 'feel' like Christmastime.

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."

"When a rich man robs a poor man, it is called business. When a poor man fights back, it's called violence."

I heard this version of Silent Night this morning heading
to the Bowling Alley

Think it's time to kickstart the Xmas Party- Oh Yeah!

And to keep that party spirit going.

Here's a fave from 1989. From New Orleans, Vince Vance & the Valiants, with Lisa Layne on lead vocal, with the original All I Want for Christmas is You.
