Ferrari had this oh so poorly chosen statement about the colour of their team, the day after signing Hamilton.

I'm guessing both Alpine & Haas are using black to save weight not for aesthetics. Up close we'll see it's carbon fibre not a paint job.

Always a worry when teams have to sacrifice a proper paint job for badly executed design or engineering.
