That's no surprise at all. I've lost my respect for
Lando now. I'd pay a dollar to see trump try to
get in a F1 car.

From what I have read McLaren had no choice and LN was polite which he is paid to be.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

McLaren gave Donald Trump a paddock pass, so the person with definite Trump sympathies is Zak Brown. Have to admit I wasn't especially surprised (although this was new information to me).

Still not sure whether Lando's comments were from actual support of Trump, a somewhat overworked appreciation of Lando's good luck (in which case, it's a joke gone sideways) or simply picking the wrong words when told to show respect for McLaren's guest. I can believe any of those options from Lando.
