Only surprise for me is the 2 year deal. Guess it makes sense though as Merc will probably get 26 PU right, Audi maybe not.

Although it appears Carlos can leave if a better performing team comes calling & Williams car not on the pace. Performance clauses are usually team on driver rather than driver on team.

Only surprise for me is the 2 year deal.

At this point I assume any F1 contract is riddled with escape clauses from one side or the other, whatever the announced length.

As Williams have said all contract details are confidential and anything read in the press is pure speculation!
