Logan Sargeant Gets IndyCar Tryout

Former Williams F1 driver Logan Sargeant will get an IndyCar test for MSR in November. Mike Shank says that he doesn't have any IndyCar seats open for next season but "As IndyCar owners, you're kind of foolish not to test a Super License holder who's 23 years old." He does have an large IMSA program too.

MSR's shops are about 25 miles from my house.

While I haven't focused on IndyCar in decades, I do know that they're much more open about the 'musical chairs' being part of the sport than F1 is right now.  If Sargent does well, he'll show up in a few races at minimum.  Even the most tenuous teams still give a driver a chance to show their stuff in 'equal machinery'.  If Sargent is suited for IndyCar, he'll rise to the top.
