From dropping fastest lap points to finally tidying up grid order for race starts where no proper qualifying has been possible, it's all here - and more.

With grid order sorted out if qualifying isn't possible, what are the commentators supposed to talk about during a rained out session?

Won't someone think of the broadcasters trying to fill dead air?!

Maybe the teams could make little boats & float them down the pit lane like they did at the Japanese GP several years ago.  ;)

I will be sorry to see the fastest lap point go. Many races that's the only thing that isn't wrapped up after the first few laps.

Really interested to see how R/B and Aston do with the Newey switch.

The Japanese race was one of the few I've missed in my F1 watching career!

I think the Fastest Lap point was great, just needed to tweak the rule, not throw it out entirely.  Off the top of my head:  fastest lap of the points finishers; Fastest lap is awarded when there are 5 laps to go (so no one can do it last lap);  Fastest lap must be set more than 3 laps after a pit stop.
