V10's anyone?
« on: March 01, 2025, 01:11:18 AM »
Did I dream it or was there  mention of V10's coming back?
If only it were true!  ::)

The idea is V10s and some sort of 'green' fuel.

The suggestion was brought up to cover up for the bad press from the FIA (MBS) trying to erase driver personalities

IndyCar and some NHRA classes have run successfully on methanol for decades. It would also give the oil companies providing it a nice talking point about becoming more sustainable.

It seems like a 1.6 liter V10 would have pistons the size of thimbles.  ;)
