So Madrid is selling their new F1 race as 'Madring', strange title indeed, lets hope it doesn't turn out like the Valencia borefest fiasco.  ;)

It's fascinating how all of Bernie's old ideas seem to be coming to fruition.

High def pay per view to watch F1.  Check
Gold medals awarded to race winners.  Check
Abandon classic tracks to focus on street circuit 'parties'.  Check

Does this mean double points finales and a New York City race are coming soon?

Oh and don't forget artificial rain sprinklers to spice up dull tracks, Jeri.  :D

I quite like the idea, they just need to find a way for the cars to not created impenetrable spray

Liberty's already got one ready to go. It fits in perfectly with ethos  of venues like Vegas & Miami

I really don't like the idea of artificially enhancing racing give the teams more flexibility to come up with improvements rather than all the restrictions we have now and with the budget cap everyone is in the same boat.
