Data shows Piastri on top of Lando & even Max for F1 title this year

We're only 5 races in but current data shows Oscar the more likely of the Macca pilots to claim the prize from Max, so says Luke Slater of the Daily Telegraph.

It may be early in the season for such predictions but Piastri is certainly stringing together a fine set of results both in Quali & races.

I'm sold on Oscar's credentials as a future Champ, will this be his year though, or is it to early to say?   :DntKnw:

Predicting the guy who has won 3 out of 5 races and leading the championship will win the championship?  Bold!

I do agree, Piastri doesn't look like a fluke.  He's got the skills, he's got the car, and like Rosberg in 2016, his equally champion calibre teammate has tripped up giving an opening.

I do feel a little bad for Norris.  He put in the time to help get McLaren where they are.  Sports isn't the place for 'they deserve' though.  You've got to get the results, period.
