Jody's agony of being F1 WDC and unable to drive own car
John S:
1979 F1 WDC title winner Jody Scheckter, has told Corriere della Sera that he currently cannot drive on the roads at all as he lacks an Italian driver's license.
The South African, now 75, moved to Italy some 18 months ago - and now needs to re-sit a driving test.
I chose Italy as my country - this is where I want to live, said the former Ferrari driver. The problem is that I speak very poor Italian. I can't possibly pass the test.
Oh, the agonies of old age & change. ;)

Is there still a International licence to let you drive anywhere
cosworth151:
I'm amazed that Italy doesn't have a Special Ferrari F1 Folks license. ;)
Dare:
The only time you really need a license is when the Police
stop you.Other than then who needs one. Jody your a World
Champion surely you can out drive a cop.
Just kidding
