The well-known journalist Giorgio Piola, while examining the McLaren MCL39, noticed the presence of a singular tub full of Dry Ice, a tub hidden in the nose of the single-seater.
Officially the contents of that tub are used to cool the cockpit.
Nothing excludes that but it is also true that Dry Ice is known for the Sublimation process; that is it's a substance that passes directly from Solid to Gaseous without leaving a trace....
Therefore nothing excludes that it can be used for other purposes..., for example to cool something else.

In F1 where even hecto-milligrams of paint are saved, do you put a Basket like that in the nose just for driver comfort???
It's not April Fool time so I guess what is being reported may be true!!! Whilst you think about it see below ... it's a Champagne Basket with a capacity of 3 kg hidden in the nose of the season dominating McL39!
