Incredible plot twists, financial manoeuvring & general rapacious hostilities between at least 2 warring factions nearly brought Canadian GP to a sad end.

There's more intrigue here than in most modern thriller plots!  :o

There are plenty of stories of Labatt vs Molson up and down Canadian sports.

The Toronto Blue Jays, named in a 'fan' contest by founding owner Labatt's, who's signature product is 'Blue'.  Ditto the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (Canadian gridiron football team) are great examples.
