Ageing Coulthard 5 secs slower in RB7 than Max round Imola

DC, him of wide jaw & thick neck, has owned up to finding it hard to push in a Formula 1 car after falling back into average physical condition.

I love this this quote about his year after retirement, taken from the longer piece below on RN365.com, just goes to show F1 cars are so brutish us average mortals just couldn't do it.  :D
"I didn't do any exercise for a year, and it was such a joy not to have neck pain, back pain, arm pain, head hurting because of the vibrations, your ears ringing because of the noise."

So we think we could just hop in a F1 car

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Thanks Dare for sharing that I enjoyed watching it.  :good:

Oh and thanks for proving the point that us mere mortals really can't jump in F1 cars.  ;)  :D

When I think of 'average people in a race car', I always think of this Honda commercial
