Good list, Dare!

A side note on Chris Amon's legendarily bad luck - During his F1 career he races for 13 different teams.  :-[

To a extent Alonso followed him a little bit. Never at the right
time at the right time

Good list but why include Ascari, he's much lauded for his championships.  :confused:

Maybe they should replace him in list with Didier Pironi, his freak accident at the 82 German GP broke both his legs and ended a very promising if contentious career.

My favourites among the list are Ronnie Peterson 'the flying Swede' & Tony Brooks, both could & should have achieved more.
