McLaren DSQ from 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Excessive plank wear.

As a result, Max and Oscar are tied 24 points behind Lando for the WDC, with two races, and a sprint to go.

Does that in the futuristic, hi-tech, carbon fiber and exotic alloy world of Formula 1 the championship will end up being decided by a piece of wood?  :DntKnw:

It's not quite as medieval as that Cossie, think you'll find it's wear on the titanium skid blocks they actually measure.

Without the skid blocks there would probably be nowt left to measure at the end of each race.  :D

If Max wins the WDC would it look like the biggest comeback
ever or a fixed ending

An article to read for those who think F1 uses wood!

Just let them run the bare chassis, if it wears through you're out for the season.

Think we'd have more crashgates to investigate Lonny.  ;)
Smash up your chassis in a practice session & then use a new one.  |-( :D
