If Max wins the WDC in 2025, what's going to happen at McLaren?

Change the driver lineup.  Both led, neither could seal the deal, at least one has to go
0 (0%)
Change the at the top.  Winning a championship is the job of team principle:  Andrea Stella has to go
0 (0%)
Change at the VERY top.  Zac Brown has built McLaren up from almost nothing, but someone else needs to make the final push.
1 (20%)
Lower level shakeup.  Engineers, technicians and strategists are doing great, but a shakeup is clearly needed.
1 (20%)
Nothing.  This is a lesson that will bring hunger to 2026 and beyond
3 (60%)

Piastri and Norris took turns looking unstoppable.  Now they look very stoppable.  What happens if Max wins the WDC for 2025?

Of course LH could leave Ferrari and return to McLaren!   :DntKnw:

I'm not too sure they would want him back. He can't beat his teammate now

I think the biggest reason for the situation is the fact that McLaren has 2 outstanding drivers and didn't appoint who was #1. Personally, I think it was a good thing that the didn't. How many races were Lando & Oscar each others main competition?

I don't thing many people would have predicted how much better Max & RBR would be at this point in the season. The double DSQ last weekend at Vegas was (hopefully) a one-off event.

Last season didn't McLaren make a big improvement after the halfway mark

Agreed, but if I told you that Horner and Newey would leave due to off track controversy, not on track failure, and RBR would become stronger?

History repeating itself!
McLaren would have had the 2007 drivers WC if the had chosen a lead driver!

Maybe Newey's assisstants learned more from him than he planned on.

Odd though ain't it that papaya rules say they are free to race each other, but pitstop mistakes can only go one driver's way.  ;)  :D
