Seems Toto is mighty keen in interviews on F1 sites to shoot down the theory Dare, maybe there is summat in it.  ;)

Payback for Max beating Lewis in 21?

What does Mercedes even gain from that?

As a constructor they're still fighting Red Bull for second place, it's unlikely for those points to matter, but last month it was unlikely for Max to be a contender for WDC.

Also aren't all radio broadcasts public?  This would mean that Mercedes pre planned this scenario, or sent a message so coded no one has identified it yet.  If Kimi is meant to be Toto's Max... turning him into Piquet Jr to help McLaren seems short sighted.

It's just a repeat of Glock from 2008.  One of those things that makes real life more interesting than any fiction.

Merc are 33pts ahead of Red Bull going into last race, even if Max wins it's hard to see the 2 Mercs not collecting more points than Tsunoda in Abu Dhabi.

On your final Glock point, yes real life is so often far wierder & less predictable than most fiction.  :D

Come to think of it I always thought that Glock spinout was kinda fishy too

Mind you I'm not sure what the FIA can do about death threats on social media, but Merc have sent them over anyway.

Social media at its best!  :nono:
I hate it as it brings out the very worst in people.

It looked to me like Kimi got a sudden snap of oversteer and the car got a bit squirrelly on him for a few moments. I really don't see why Merc would want to give up Constructor points.

Isn't it ironic that "social media" brings out so much antisocial behavior?
